P\u00f4st je s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou \u013eudstva u\u017e tis\u00edce rokov, no za posledn\u00fdch 50 a viac rokov je \u00faplne zanedb\u00e1van\u00fd. Spojenie medzi stravou modern\u00e9ho \u010dloveka a objaven\u00edm sa ve\u013ek\u00e9ho mno\u017estva chor\u00f4b, ktor\u00e9 pred p\u00e4\u0165desiatimi a viac rokmi neboli tak\u00fdm probl\u00e9mom, je ve\u013emi zauj\u00edmav\u00e9. Dnes ve\u013emi dobre vieme, z \u010doho najviac ochorieme a zomierame. Pred tis\u00edckami rokov bol p\u00f4st neoddelite\u013enou s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou n\u00e1\u0161ho ka\u017edodenn\u00e9ho \u017eivota a stravovac\u00edch n\u00e1vykov. \u013dudia sa postili z r\u00f4znych d\u00f4vodov, \u010di u\u017e i\u0161lo o n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00e9 obrady, o\u010distenie tela alebo zachovanie zdravia. Praktika p\u00f4stu bola \u010dasto zast\u00fapen\u00e1 v r\u00f4znych kult\u00farach a n\u00e1bo\u017eenstv\u00e1ch po celom svete. Av\u0161ak s pr\u00edchodom modern\u00fdch \u010dias a zr\u00fdchlenou industrializ\u00e1ciou potrav\u00edn p\u00f4st pomaly mizne z na\u0161ich \u017eivotov. V minulosti \u013eudia zvy\u010dajne jedli jedno a\u017e dve jedl\u00e1 denne. Av\u0161ak v 70. rokoch sa zmenili stravovacie smernice a potravin\u00e1rsky priemysel a marketingov\u00ed experti akt\u00edvne podporovali konzum\u00e1ciu viacer\u00fdch men\u0161\u00edch jed\u00e1l denne. Pr\u00e1ve tu spo\u010d\u00edva sila ve\u013ek\u00fdch potravin\u00e1rskych spolo\u010dnost\u00ed a neuverite\u013en\u00fd vplyv reklamy na be\u017en\u00fdch \u013eud\u00ed. M\u00e9di\u00e1, telev\u00edzia, internet, noviny n\u00e1s presved\u010dili a st\u00e1le presvied\u010daj\u00fa, \u017ee je d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 jes\u0165 \u010dasto a \u017ee by sme nikdy nemali vynecha\u0165 jedlo. Nov\u00e9 usmernenia odpor\u00fa\u010dali konzumova\u0165 minim\u00e1lne p\u00e4\u0165 a\u017e \u0161es\u0165 men\u0161\u00edch jed\u00e1l denne, aby sme si udr\u017eali svoje zdravie a pohodu. Bohu\u017eia\u013e, tieto zmeny v stravovac\u00edch n\u00e1vykoch nepriniesli \u017eelan\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky. Namiesto toho sme svedkami alarmuj\u00faceho n\u00e1rastu v\u0161etk\u00fdch najv\u00e1\u017enej\u0161\u00edch chor\u00f4b modern\u00e9ho \u010dloveka. Sta\u010d\u00ed sa pozrie\u0165 na svoje deti, pr\u00edbuzn\u00fdch, susedov. Ko\u013ekokr\u00e1t ste u\u017e po\u010duli alebo mali bl\u00edzkeho \u010dloveka vo va\u0161ej rodine, ktor\u00fd mal infarkt alebo mozgov\u00fa pr\u00edhodu vo svojich tridsiatich alebo \u0161tyridsiatich rokoch? Vid\u00edte svoje deti alebo vn\u00fa\u010dat\u00e1, ako cel\u00fd de\u0148 jedia naozaj zl\u00e9 jedlo, sedia pred telev\u00edzorom, surfuj\u00fa po internete alebo cel\u00fd de\u0148 hraj\u00fa hry? Vie\u0161, ak\u00fd zl\u00fd je tento sp\u00f4sob \u017eivota, ale v\u0161etci ho st\u00e1le praktizujeme. S pacientmi v klinickej praxi pracujem od roku 2000. V tom \u010dase bol najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed po\u010det chor\u00fdch vo veku p\u00e4\u0165desiat rokov a viac. Postupom \u010dasu som si v\u0161ak v\u0161imol znepokojuj\u00faci trend: \u010doraz viac \u013eud\u00ed mlad\u0161\u00edch ako 50 alebo 40 rokov prich\u00e1dzalo do mojej ambulancie na lie\u010dbu. Dnes je to v krajin\u00e1ch rozvinut\u00e9ho sveta be\u017en\u00e1 situ\u00e1cia. \u010c\u00edm sme mlad\u0161\u00ed, t\u00fdm viac ochorieme. Jedlo, ktor\u00e9 konzumujeme ka\u017ed\u00fd de\u0148, je pln\u00e9 pr\u00e1zdnych kal\u00f3ri\u00ed a ve\u013emi chudobn\u00e9 na esenci\u00e1lne \u017eiviny. Namiesto toho, aby sme telu dali odpo\u010dinok medzi jedlami na regener\u00e1ciu a o\u010distenie od tox\u00ednov, k\u0155mime ho nepretr\u017eite \u0161estn\u00e1s\u0165 a\u017e osemn\u00e1s\u0165 hod\u00edn denne. V\u00fdsledkom je mimoriadne negat\u00edvny dopad na na\u0161e zdravie, ktor\u00fd sa odr\u00e1\u017ea v mnoh\u00fdch zdravotn\u00fdch probl\u00e9moch, ktor\u00fdm \u010del\u00edme.
