Je zauj\u00edmav\u00e9 poznamena\u0165, \u017ee v\u00fdskum uk\u00e1zal, \u017ee korenie zauj\u00edma prv\u00e9 miesto medzi 26 najbe\u017enej\u0161\u00edmi bylinkami a koreninami na svete, pokia\u013e ide o mno\u017estvo antioxidantov, ktor\u00e9 obsahuje. Okrem toho m\u00e1 mno\u017estvo \u010fal\u0161\u00edch zdravotn\u00fdch benefitov, vr\u00e1tane antibakteri\u00e1lnych, protimykotick\u00fdch a antidiabetick\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed.  <\/p>\n\n<p>V skuto\u010dnosti sa \u0161korica z\u00edskava z k\u00f4ry stromu zn\u00e1meho ako Cinnamomum verum (alebo Cinnamomum zeylanicum). Cinnamaldehyd, kyselina cinam\u00ednov\u00e1 a \u0161korica s\u00fa niektor\u00e9 z charakteristick\u00fdch zlo\u017eiek tejto k\u00f4ry. V porovnan\u00ed s rastlinami, ktor\u00e9 sa konzumuj\u00fa pravidelne, ako je tymian, cesnak a rozmar\u00edn, bolo preuk\u00e1zan\u00e9, \u017ee obsahuje vy\u0161\u0161iu koncentr\u00e1ciu antioxidantov. V \u0161korici sa nach\u00e1dza nieko\u013eko r\u00f4znych typov antioxidantov, vr\u00e1tane polyfenolov, fenolovej kyseliny a flavonoidov.
