Aya\u011f\u0131n en yayg\u0131n mantar enfeksiyonu olan tinea pedis veya atlet ayak, genellikle dermatofit Trichophyton rubrum taraf\u0131ndan neden olur. Trichophyton interdigitale ve Epidermophyton floccosum gibi di\u011fer mantarlar da atlet aya\u011f\u0131ndan sorumludur. Ayak derisinin herhangi bir yerinde ortaya \u00e7\u0131kabilir.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Bu enfeksiyonu kapma riski, s\u0131cak ve nemli b\u00f6lgelerde daha y\u00fcksektir.
